Our democracy works best when it works for all of us. AJFA’s Democracy Awards are a way to identify and reward the best civic engagement projects around the country – starting with, and focusing on, key swing states.
In early 2020, we’ll accept applications for Democracy Awards, and shortly thereafter, we’ll announce the winners. We’ll fund the best civic engagement, voter registration, and GOTV plans in our target states.
To kickoff our 2020 initiative, we had a Voter Registration Rally/Reception in Las Vegas at the end of 2019. That was the first of many events we’ll have as well identify and reward ways to engage new voters in 2020, and beyond.
